There are events that push physical limits and then there are events that push for something bigger. The 2024 Brisbane to Gold Coast Cycle for Cancer was one of those. Over 100km of riding, thousands of participants, and one shared mission: to help end cancer.
We were honoured to be involved in this incredible event, not just as supporters of athletic performance, but as part of a wider movement making a real difference in people’s lives.
Supporting the Cause (and the Legs)
Whether it was a seasoned cyclist or a first time rider taking on the 100km challenge, one thing was clear: recovery matters. And after hours in the saddle, riders were more than ready to give their legs a break.
At the finish line in Southport, we set up our Benefit Recovery Zone with our Compression Boots on full blast, helping flush out fatigue, reduce soreness and fast track muscle recovery. Seeing riders genuinely surprised at how quickly the boots took the edge off the post ride heaviness was one of the highlights of the day.
More Than a Ride
This wasn’t just about fitness. It was about funding life-saving cancer research and supporting families doing it tough. Every rider, every donation, every kilometre, it all mattered. Being part of that energy, surrounded by people with stories, strength and purpose, reminded us why we do what we do.
At Benefit, we believe recovery isn’t just about bouncing back faster, it’s about sustaining the ability to show up again and again, for what matters most.
What’s Next?
We’re already looking ahead to future community events, but this one will stay with us for a while. Massive kudos to the event organisers, volunteers and every single person who rode, donated or cheered from the sidelines. You’re the reason this event is so powerful.
If you visited our recovery lounge and want to continue your recovery journey, check out our full range and as always, reach out with any questions.
Here’s to riding with purpose, recovering with intention and making an impact together.
